I am in the process of getting ready for a trip to Minneapolis to see Miss M, her parents and one set of her aunts and uncles. Plus there will be time with Mom in Wisconsin. I haven´t been in Minneapolis since last November so there are things to take. One is a lovely Hudson Bay blanket I got for Xmas that will fit into the decor perfectly. Another is a wooden plate with a red maple leaf on it that I received as a retirement gift from SFU and finally picked up recently. These sorts of items are easy.

What is more challenging for me is gauging what I will need to take with regard to knitting. Of course there will be yarn for at least a couple pair of socks, that´s a no brainer. But then, will I be knitting more food? Will I complete another pair of fingerless gloves? Will I give a go at my third Bucky toque? What patterns do I take with me? What needles size and type? There is yarn in the condo, but is it the right colour, weight and amount? (A reasonable person would keep track of such inventory, but when was I reasonable??)
Then I have added spinning and beading to the mix. How much roving and different types of beads do I take? As you can tell these are challenging, burning, difficult questions. Not really, but I hate to have to purchase something for my second place that I know is sitting around doing nothing in my first. It just bugs me. Yet there is only so much luggage space so decisions need to be made. These will be the pressing matters I contemplate in the next few days. (I know, this is really a rather silly waste of head time, but it is what it is. As my kids would say, definitely a First World Problem, FWP.)

I promised a look at my latest bead wrap bracelet. This one is made with hex-cut Delicas in a dark metallic blue-black colour. A black leather band will be added on either side once all the beads are strung and a magnetic closure will be added. This is what I have so far:
Now off to make a decision or two.
