First an explanation, true it has been sometime since I last posted something new. This happens periodically, it seems as if I have nothing to say, so I say nothing. I continue to knit and will update you later. Today I want to link you to a story in The New Yorker. Alison Lurie has an article lifted from her upcoming book, Knitting Yarns: Writers on Knitting. The book isn't due out until November 2015.
It outlines knitters' myth about knitting a sweater for a significant other, plus gives a quick, succinct, history about knitting. Thank you Susan for sharing this. (BTW, I am writing this post from Northern Ireland, Derry, up until two weeks ago known as Londonderry to be specific, so it is a one off until I get back.)
